Little black dress you're older than me. I ware you and feel I'm not eighteen. I imagine my mother and stepfather on their first date. Did you see her nerves in deciding what to ware? Did you know she'd pick you? Did your nylon and spandex highlight her looks? Did you see his smile when he saw her. Did you see him leave her for a traveling job? Feel what she felt? Did you see her meet my dad? Did you know how that would end. Did you see the fighting? You're only nylon and spandex just some cloth that's sewn, but you were there through it all covering my mother in what little protection clothing can give from the nerves of an amazing first date too the end of a summer romance to the beging of a marriage to a terrible divorce . The anxiety that kept her skinny kept you in her life. Till her love met her again and this time didn't leave. Then she took ,and gave you to me to ware the memory of that life. The one that existed before me remembered in your every seem. Just spandex and nylon ah beautiful black dress worn but not destroyed. You like my mother were abused to a crumpled wad on the floor but you still survived to surve your purpose; to be there for me. I can allways ware you; go to you for comfort, and you will allways be there. Little black dress you're older than me I wear you and I feel My mother.
