Mom

I look into your eyes,

I see myself

I wouldn't say it is a bad thing.

Its the complete opposite.

I look up to you,

Not only are you my mother,

But my best friend as well.

Whenever I need advice I got to you,

I love you.

I do not know what I would do,

If you weren't here with me

You have taught me

To get through it all

With my head help up high

Knowing there is a storm

But the calm is yet to come.
