Mom

The walls are all closing in,

don't they know we are all trying to fit in?

We are all drowning looking for a hand,

this pain we can't mend.

It's time to end.

Following the nurturing hand,

we learn to mend.

Following the nurturing hand,

we learn to fend.

Following the nurturing hand,

we learn how to end.

Suddenly we have no pain,

no more time for this rain,

no more time for this strain.
