Mom

The heart that loves me

beats fast in your chest

when you see me crying.

Yet, your hands are slow

smoothing my hair and

drying my eyes.

You have loved me forever

and forever more will you love me;

Nothing I say or do

can take away

from your eternal love and support.

You're there when I fall down;

you're there to help me up;

you're there when I succeed;

you're there inspiring my dreams.

My life would be a mess,

so incomplete without you.

My heart would have

a vacant spot

if I didn't have you.

There's nothing like a mother's love

to make me feel secure.

I could not live without you

nor would I ever want to.
