Mom Dad Please

No, you can't walk home alone

No Luis, she can't learn how to ride a bike, she'll get hurt

No Calista, you can't join boxing, you'll get hurt

Every guy friend they come to meet is my love interest

Can that please change?

Why does being a girl need to mean, be pretty and act pretty?

The way I grew up is what I came to be

Why does my dad need to make the tough decisions?

When will being a girl not signify being weak?

Why did I need to please my mother and be that?

Being this sn't what I want to be

This is what I grew up and came to be

I'm not supposed to be this mom, i'm better than that

I'm not an object mom, it's not supposed to be like this
