mom take me by the hand

You held me close when I was young.

I never felt so safe in my life.

I had so much to learn from my very first breath,

but I knew you would be the one.

You taught me right from wrong,

never once in a song.

I look up to you in everyway possible.

I have made mistakes in my life,

but you never gave up on me.

In times we would always shout in glee.

I have grown up now to the next chapter in my life.

I know you will always be there for me.

You helped me achieve the grades I earned.

You helped me whenever you could on my homework.

Now I'm oof to college a brand new world.

I love you so much.

Thank you for being my world.
