Moment

In a moment---I could be at a desk,

Taking names and answering doors,

In a moment---I could be organizing spreadsheets.

In a moment---I could be

I could be

I--could--be

Running opening night at the theater,

spotlights warmed---a pale white, alive--ready

One day,

Someday---I could be.
