That Moment

You hear a voice
You think it's someone else
you realize it's not
you wish it was
you dream they'd appear
tell you they miss you
you're disappointed
shocked
didn't realize you missed them
loneliness creeps back

Dammit, I hate it when that happens. All those thoughts rush through your head in a matter of seconds and yet, the effect lasts for what seems like forever.
