This Moment

Every moment was a fresh one.

He would burn her skin so fiercely that she almost couldn’t handle the pain;

and then within the next instant her previous emotions were refrained.

He knew that what he was feeling was temporary but within that realization he embraced every minute with her.

There was no past or future.

There was only now.

There was only her laying out on the silk sheets-

topless, mouth ajar.

Clearly wanting more but even this moment of placidity has its beauty.

You could paint a picture of her flushed cheeks.

Her cheeks weren’t roses a minute ago?

But that was the past and in the now her cheeks are bouquets.
