Over in a moment
Death is nothing to be feared;
Life, love, and everything else
Is a tragedy for the mind.

They say they will never
Leave you again but,
It is a lie.
They just did not know it
At the time they spoke.

People say
To get over it,
To understand,
To be happy.
For why is there happiness?
They lied.

Over in a moment
You join them in the clouds;
Nothing is to be feared.
You got over it,
You understood,
You are happy.
Now just a statistic.

I will follow your footsteps
No matter where they go,
You will be proud of who I am
And who I can never be.
When I make my final
Pull of the trigger
The moment will burn
Like ice down my back.
