The moment between childhood and adulthood

Sixteen years old, grandpa passed away,

My dad and his sisters never stopped arguing.

Next few weeks filled with many bad days,

causing my family to become split apart.

Now I don't know if there will be a someday

that I can see my aunts, uncles, cousins again.

I know I have to move on without them,

remember all the memories,

but forget the ignorance.

Losing family is always hard,

especially all at once.

I soon became a version of myself,

I knew they would have loved.
