Moment of Decision

I stop to wonder,
when will you decide to come back?
Will you still be the same?

You'll be in my mind,
either in the day,
or the night.

When I see your beautiful face,
making that innocent smile,
I'll just look away,

When you turn around and walk off,
my heart will keep a steady beat.

The color of your eyes were unremarkable,
not reminding me of mermaids' tears.

Your presence won't give me any fear,
it will be just as though
the deep feelings I've held,
scarcely fade and each day,
will feel much like the last.
