A Moment Too Late


You did it, a moment too late. You did that thing right before someone was going to persuade you otherwise. You did that thing too quick, without thought. You didn't take the time to consider the pros or the cons, You only thought how this life was wrong. No one had time to say, "Your life may not be right, but doing this isn't the answer." Good things come to those who wait, but you didn't wait. You thought you couldn't. You did that thing right before someone held you in their arms saying everything was alright, no worries. Right before you convinced even yourself, not to. This isn't a fairy tale story. Not everything ends with happy ever after and princes and laughter. It ends like this. With a sad, bitter ending, with a girl I used to know. It's filled with sorrow and something written by, what sounds like, Mr. Poe And as soon as it ends-

Theatre has taken my heart and so has Dr. Pepper, but mostly theatre. I'm a cute brunette, I guess. And now a word from Mr. Disney himself, "Why worry? If you've done the very best you can, worrying won't make it any better."
