A Moment Your Own

All life does is spin and spin.

The constant motion, the endless attempts-

To be Noticed,

To be Felt,

To be Alive and Free.

The nonstop judging and relentless feuds.

Person versus Person.

Body versus Body.

Mind versus Self.

All one does is be who others see

When in reality

They’re breaking inside.

Scratching at the walls

To let them Fall, Fall, Fall.

Do break free and uncage your mind.

Stop the spinning,

Stop the grief,

And take a moment to Breathe.

A moment to See.

A moment to be

The Person, the Body, the Mind,

Who stops the struggle.

Stops the fight.

And takes hold of that life

To relieve the Strife.
