Moments

Time What a peculiar concept A force, a creation of man, and a fear What is It? In all reality we label time as so many things but what Really is It? It's, the growing of children The growing pains The withering of old men and the sagging of their beards and skin It is something, like many other things, only valued when you have very little of it left. Once, upon, a Time. When I had more moments to my name I wouldn't worry about the withering of my loved ones skin The growing pains When I had more moments to my name, I never would worry about the leaving phrase "I hate you" on the ears when my loved one would leave the house Then the hand of the clock had clicked Round and round day and night with no other purpose than to mesure a moment. And one moment, once upon a time, every piece of my world was draped in the shadows of fear My mother had left the house to whore away her hard work And I hadn't even said I hate you But I hadn't said I love you This was the moment, that I began to value moments When I didn't want to waste them. This was the time when I realized that moments are numbered and we may have few. This is when I began to worry about the moments I had left. When I stopped having the worries of a child.
