Moments
“The most hurtful parts of us chain us down, make us scared. We are more afraid to live than we are afraid to die. We are more scared of being happy than being sad. We believe that sometimes it’s better to be alone. A million words that we’re longing to hear and say, opportunities we try to take. The deeper someone knows about us, the more our storybook has a lock on it. Why? Maybe if we let someone in, does that loneliness go away? Are we so afraid to love that risks are like bullet wounds to the heart? Breathe in, breathe out. I’m shouting from the rooftops every secret of my life and whispering everything you want to hear from me. Maybe it’s because we’re afraid of who we are or who we will be. That’s why we are cautious to cling to words. Things spark a moment so vibrant, making beautiful art like the tattoos on our bodies. The night doesn’t seem to be long enough, because the art causes smiles and laughter that never end. Minds intertwine with one another, sparking beautiful chaos which is true peace. Moments like this are beautiful and rare to find.”
