The Moments
Gazing upon the sunset I am approach by the thoughts in my head.
I roll over to my notebook meaning to write but i wonder instead.
Fearing the moments I have in my head.
Hoping to have faith and be strong within.
Its dark and its quiet.
I fell into my bed. Where am I, What do I see up ahead.
Im dreaming not awake as these moments fill up my head.
Something is attached and holding on to my leg.
I am blind trying to find my way off my bed.
I cannot see, begining to fear of all the things that could be near.
These moments,
I cannot control the throbbing in my head.
No pills, no alchohol to clear my head.
I just looked up above and said Lord take all this pain away.
These moments, are real and more like nightmares.
Facing the fact in the dark, I become stray.
I lose sight but I keep faith.
These moments,
I stay strong and I walk straight.
It is not cold it is not warm.
I open my eyes it's all white, where have I gone.
I sit up and im sane. im woke but not hurt in vain.
These moments.
