In a Moment's Meeting
My mouth, a careful coward,
forces a smile past my disposition.
A few seconds will have you gone,
but we’ll retain some recognition.
And should I find your face again
in some familiar place,
perhaps you’ll be behind the counter,
and I’ll be fishing for loose change.
