Moments in Time

(poems go here) The clock strikes twelve and my mind strikes a nerve another day gone to waste in this never ending hourglass hours were once variables now they breathe constants constantly drowning through this man made concept of the measurements of life see it’s not that I don’t want to waste my time I just don’t want to waste my life the truth is all life is relative because my beating heart is not born back ceaselessly into the past it springs forward in a never ending chorus of dusk and dawn my life is measured in moments not minutes and I hope that when my eyes glance at the world one last time that I will be able to blink a thousand times to the only thing that I will own that adds homage to my existence I want to paint a portrait of the sun in the abyssopelagic so that there can be one less place where the sun don’t shine and I want to write letters in lipstick and stamp them with a smudge to every person I’ve ever kissed and to every person that I almost did I want to have a date with myself and have a glass of wine with my tears and if im lucky maybe marry my thoughts because one day I want to love myself as much as I love the world and there are so many things to do and so little… well who knows so it goes I don’t know where to go
