Mommy

Don't talk to your father; be a respectful, young lady; love yourself; being skinny makes you beautiful; always use your manners; don't talk back; do the dishes; keep your room clean; make exceptional grades; but mommy, I have straight As; you could be better, try harder; why can't you be more like her?; stay home and study like a good girl; don't follow the wrong crowd; it's not okay to do drugs; this is your new daddy; mommy, he has needle marks on his arm- it's okay because we have a child together; real men don't leave marks on you; don't settle for anything less; I'm not going back; just one more chance; but mommy, he's hitting you; this is love; don't talk about what you saw; don't be depressed; always smile; don't become like your sister; you did this to her; this is your fault; she could've died because of you; don't tell your father; always be able to support yourself; I need your paycheck; you don't have to rely on a man; this is your new father, honey; I'm marrying him for financial support; love him, obey him, appreciate him; but mommy, he's hurting you- it was just one time; he was drunk; he dosen't like you; leave, before I make you; you're just like your father, manipulative, inconsiderate, selfish; you're a mistake; I hate you; get out of my house; but mommy, I have nowhere to go; you're not welcomed here; don't leave me like everyone else; you don't want to see your mother cry, do you?; I love you; welcome home, sweetie.
