Mommy's Little Angel

Drugs was my Mamas kryptonite That shit would have her out all through the night Her dealer’s name was Big Daddy Wayne He would supply her with that good old cocaine Times she'd say "I'm not doing it anymore " But then she would sneak on out the door That night I was innocent But when the dealer went, I knew what my Mama meant When she said "have her for 50 cents " After that, selling me became a ritual & I started to become less spiritual Why would God do this to me Leave me in my time of need My innocence was gone I didn't think I would live long God oh God why me I asked? I know once I get older this will be considered a forbidden past In the pastures of no return In hell is where she should burn My Mamas hugs used to be sweet and warm But now her touch makes me wish I was never born I cry cause I can’t carry on Cause on the inside I feel torn I use to be Mommy’s little angel But now, I am no longer faithful
