Mom's Heart

Here, my mom died

killed by the diagnosis of cancer

-the funeral consists of

beautiful pink roses. In this picture,

there goes a woman laying her head against a beam

the thought that there was no more human in her body.

seeing her eyes closed this griefs too vast for me

her photograph touches my heart noticing how breathtaking it was

to have her on this Earth.

I think of how my day has risen.

Our memories will never die

I try to live my life

like she would want me to.
