Mon Cheri

Nightclub singer walking downtown French scene Alone on stage, I own the stage I'll play you a song or two if you're kind I sing the same old tunes The same old blues I've got nothing left to say except, Dark blue is what I feel for you Soft lights and cigarette smoke The after show The sunrise always kills me Oh mon dieu I've got nothing much to live for, except the microphone and the blues
