Money

The root of all evil

A decider of dreams

puts everyone in peril

with its power and schemes.

Is a liar to those with hope.

A plague to those in need

Causing a downward slope

and an incline to greed.

Keeps the rich richer

and the poor more poor.

Clouding up the picture

without settling the score.

A bright light to many

an answer seems so

leaving miles of plenty

and many to mope.

This poem was inspired from an inability to make my dreams come true.

Education should be a lot less money and I know there are a lot of people like me out there that have a dream and want to achieve it.

This is dedicated to those with dreams.
