Money

“Can you buy me this, can you buy me that”,

Is what I remember telling my mom and dad.

Money is not an issue you face when you are young,

Until I went off to college is when it all begun.

Education is nothing but dollar signs, dollar sign, dollar signs.

Getting jobs, working hard is all that is on my mind

Making money is hard and we are told that money doesn’t grow on trees.

I know that's true which sucks, but the kid inside me still wants to believe.
