Monkey Bar Troubles

I was excited

I was at the playground

It had been a long time since I had last been at the playground

I ran to the monkey bars

I reached up

I was surprised

I didn't have to jump to reach them

I could do the monkey bars with my feet on the ground

I was no longer excited

I was sad

I had grown too big for the monkey bars

I realized I was too old for the monkey bars

Good Bye playground :(
