Monkshood

Leaves very purple blue

Like me, there is only a few

Be careful, don’t come near

The wound may be too severe

My looks may be deceiving

but my words are more misleading

The devil’s helmet, I am heartless

One taste of me, you’re unconscious

So hard to face up to

Your pain, I hang on to

Innocent I may appear

My intentions are unclear

My long green neck scheming

At the corner of the garden, I stand very pleasing

I will keep growing regardless

of my looks, harmless
