monster

I went over to talk to a girl

a friend

or so I thought

for every time her gazed turned its head in my direction it was void of friendlieness

an almost frightened look creeping into her eyes

pupils shrunk to pin points

and yet I loved her like friends do

and hated to be the cause of that look

her words defenceve

I felt like we were on a fencening line dancing

to the death

she was never agood fighter

I however had always beeen a great opponent

capitalizing on weakness

she was shy and quiet

caring more focused on the world miles away than the one she was in currently

she was mature and reserved and emotional

i usually defended her

not fought

so I did not know what to do when finally

we were on different sides of the same chessboard

neighboring peices not having any mind to their battle

rook and knight

evil and good

I was often a villian

people told me so even

but she was the first to ever make me feel like a monster-cc.
