Monster

There is a monster inside of me,

A monster you may know.

And this monster that lives inside of me,

continues to grow.

This monster that lives inside of me

is always on the run,

this monster inside of me

hides away from the sun.

This monster that lives inside of me

only wants to be free.

But how can that be so

when the monster is me?
