Monster at Heart

You. Demon.

Wrenched my soul with your filthy hands.

My love for you clearly not enough.

I broke as you walked out the door with that...

reprobate.

You. Ungrateful.

My pockets empty from the countless gifts I

brought to you.

Rejection my gift in return.

I kept quiet, not to upset.

You. Non-human.

Your eyes sparkling with malice.

Hatred.

Never have I seen someone act so much as an

angel yet truly they are...a monster.
