Monster Inside
There is someone inside my head
It is full of rage and carnage
With claws as hard like lead
My mind just can't seem to manage
It whispers words of pain and death
Shows me images of pure fear
With arms wrapping me like a wreath
Wishes to destroy what is dear
I can't keep this creature anymore
Made from my darkest parts within
It must be let go to cause gore
This thing's patience has been worn thin
There is a monster beneath me
And it's time to let it be free
