The Monster Inside Me

I'm slipping back down. The depression grabs me, It pulls me, drags me under the deep dark current Variations of darkness sparkle above me, as I go deeper and deeper. Hues of green, blue, and purple, churn around me, drowning me in it all. Bubbles of hope escape my lips, flying away into the nothing I slowly float downwards into the deepest dark. I see the happiness, the sunshine, the light, and the sparkles above. Calling out to me, I reach for it I miss. I slip. I fall. The monster has a hold of me I'm stuck in the beasts tight embrace. Can I escape? Do I struggle to let go, or do I stop and give up completely?
