The Monster Under My Bed

I have this monster living under my bed

That emits a poisonous odor

It whispers vicious words of hate

And curses at it"s owner

It makes disgusting noises

It nibbles on my toes

It takes a bath maybe once a month

Then it gets covered in my woes

I have this monster living under my bed

That spews a lot of lies

She has thick locks of greenish hair

And a persistence that never dies

It points its knobby fingers

It smells through a pointed nose

It picks its teeth with bony arms

It's name is Insecurity

Lol. Yeah like no one reads my stuff. So thank you! I really appreciate you reading them.

Have you heard of Shel Silverstein? He seems like a poet you might like. I wish more people can see your work, I love the way you make it feel happy light feeling. So many people are so serious when it comes to personal, so it is refreshing!
