Monster Under My Bed

He's scary and he's evil

He's getting in my head

Lack of sleep is killing me

From the outside I look dead

He misbehaves forever

He is my influence

My kindness and my friendliness

He slowly has possessed

His hand reaches out to me

His smirk has me convinced

I let go of my own path

And became a pessimist

I lost all of my mercy

I lost all of my friends

He will never leave my side

He'll stay with me 'till the end

He's the king of all my shadows

He's taken all my fight

Surrounded now by darkness

Where what once reigned here, was light

I will neve forget him for

I made him my best friend

I've been completely overtaken by

The monster under my bed.
