Monsters

They can hide under your bed,
they reside in your head.
They can sense when you’re weak,
It’s like playing hide n’ seek.
They can sniff out your greatest fears,
Reducing you to tears.
They play with your mind,
Not giving you the time
To heal your soul,
Or mend your woes
They can kill with a look
Not caring what they took;
A babies’ life,
Giving a mother strife
From losing her only child.
