Monsters in My Closet

The monsters that exist,

Are too much for me to face.

I threw them in my closet,

But they want out of that place.

They claw at the door,

Trying to get out.

I question their intentions,

And begin to live in doubt.

Most people have skeletons,

That won’t let them live or thrive,

But skeletons died long ago,

My monsters are very much alive.
