Monterno Achilles

Mother wanted a strong boy

though he never asked it

wanted to be normal boy

dipped him in River Styx

result is rebellious

always throwing damn fits

one day said good bye to mom

suitcase and a jacket

joined the war

angered mommy

signed for camp

and paid no fees

fell from high

no injuries

then got up

onto his feet

went onto the battlefield

and bullets bounced off of his chest

his friends then called him superman

his friends and more called him the best

cocky feelings

rose up high

like an eagle

in the sky

he looked on down

and saw food

friends meant nothing

to him too

one battle later

his "friends" were dead

the enemy then

surrounded him

they shot and shot

and he still stood still

then one bullet grazzed

his damn exposed heel

his face was in shock

and fell to the floor

his enemies spat

he cocky no more
