Monuments of an unspoken time
I'm not afraid of hurting you.
I'm afraid of the collateral damage made from everything we sacrifised for the name of honesty.
Naive girl,
trust me
no monuments are constructed to remember the bridges we've burned.
Nothing to honor tender memory.
All were left is ash and scars in a world that no longer seems as appealing as it use to,
and echoes of the times when we truly felt something unimaginable, complete.
