The Moon

A shining object in the night,

I wonder if we share the sight

the moon presents to us,

the ever lasting trust

we place in the moon,

to be there, well see it soon.

I wonder if, as i gaze

upon it, youre doing the same,

Oh the connection that i long to feel

with you, help me heal,

The moons bright light,

Lights up my bleak life

with hope and life and love

coming from that orb above.

The connection I feel, with the moon,

Pierces my heart, like a harpoon,

For i know tis not a connection,

But the wishes of a longing affection,

And the feelings i feel deep inside,

Are breaking my soul, for the feelings are mine.

The beautiful moon, floating alone,

Strangely feels like my clone.
