The Moon
Night so fine, look at the Moon.
See her so bright, shining with
Such radiance through the night.
Please, let me show you how
Peaceful the Moon feels now on
A quiet night such as this.
The Sun is sleeping, but the Moon
Is watching over all of us. So, so
Quietly she does that it feels like
A century to me. Oh, how I wish
For this night to last for all eternity.
The Moon is so beautiful, shining
With a thousand stars around her.
I admire her beauty and grace. She
Can see herself in the sea. She is
So bright, I know it is true.
Wolves howl to the Moon to show
Their love and loyalty to her, high
In the night sky above them. But
She weeps for the Sun. Look at
How she wishes to be close to him.
But the time for the Moon to sleep
Will be very soon. She will still be
With us no matter where we go.
I know where to find her. See how
Fine the night is. Race the Moon
And catch her dazzling light.
