The Moon

Living without the moon might be difficult,

no tide for the ocean would be the result.

The face we all see would be there no longer,

and the gravity of Earth would have to be stronger.

With no moon there's no light during the night,

and that would give the children a fright.

A moon landing would not have been real,

although some people think that's already the deal.

No way could the cow jump over the moon, 

and the dish could not run away with the spoon.
