The Moon and the Sea

Location

You are the moon and I am the sea,

Your constant changing faces,

Are always changing me,

When you show your full face,

And you’re shining bright and full,

Showing your rage like you would,

Makes me clear paths where things once stood,

You make me rip and go wildly about,

Making each wave of emotion to leave a scar with no doubt,

A scar not on land that you can visibly see,

But on myself creating my own hell,

With each white ripple with its own memory to tell,

And when your mood is shorter,

And you only show a quarter,

And you say there’s no support,

And that you’re all alone,

Makes me swirl in my emotions,

And create new commotions,

Where it makes me feel I have no devotions,

Or no motions of my own.

Because you are the moon and I am the sea,

And your constant changing faces,

Are always changing me.
