The Moon and Sun

Once upon a time

There were two little kids

One resembling the moon

The other the sun

And yet people thought wrong

It was the moon that meant the sun

And the sun that meant the moon

Midnight blue like the night sky

Or maybe shining white like the morning sky

Girl and boy

Blue and white

Happy and sad

Yet very much the same

Is the sun really that dark?

Is the moon always so bright?

Once upon a time

There were two little kids

One as dark as the sun

The other as bright as the moon
