Moon Cloak

I am the moon,

earthlings say I'm soft,

I am pale light

I am nights goddess

but look at me close,

here bare in front of you.

I am cratered,

I am broken

promises,

even when I

have been bedazzled by stars

and cloacked by clouds,

they'll shout

'you make me crazy'

So

I am tough

I am firepower

in a cool cave

I am lovely to look

at

but

rough to touch,

I am battles

I have won

I am scars I

wear proudly,

I walk on earth with

my moon cloak

on my shoulders,

I will ride

night like

it is a stallion,

i will brave the army.

I am moon

goddess,

night sky,

the road that

guides you

home.
