Moon Cry
When night fell I saw a woman appear
as troubled as can be
She looked up to the moon in tears
And I heard her sing a haunting melody
Oh moon, could you bring love back to me?
There is a black hole where my heart should be
It was taken so suddenly
and he doesn't even want it
Because he's latched onto another
I cannot tell him
If you cannot help
Let him feel the joy and love I used to own
Give him the last of my strength
with the woman he chose
And so the moon granted her wish
The woman lowered her hands to the ground
And around her the world lost its color
She took one breath and not another
