Moon God

He looks after me when I am sad

He makes sure I’m safe when I am asleep

That’s all I wanted few years ago

But now, why am I demanding so much?

I don’t care about this world

I don’t care about my emotions

Please stop this misfortune of mine

I wish that every night but he does nothing

My wish is out of his realm of help

He cannot do anything except watch

I torture him with my screaming and wailing

He stays on the moon, crying with me

I’m sorry my moon god

I’m not a nice person

You know that about me

Because I tell you everything

You cannot fix all of my problems

But if it’s possible

Please look after me

No matter how terrible I am
