The Moon influence

The Moon so beautiful,

and yet so scary.

feels like you could catch it,

and yet so far away.

Oh how much i would love to touch the moon

how much i would to enjoy its company

how much i would wait to hear it

how much i would dream of staying with it

So close and yet so far

So beautiful and yet so terrifying

So open and yet so mysterious

So bright and yet so dim

As much as i enjoy looking at it

as much as i enjoy its gentle smile

as much as i miss it

i have to let it go
