Moon Shine
When the sun sleeps,
For the day is done,
and the clouds will scatter away.
Night has fallen,
Down upon the earth,
And the creatures come out to play.
But when I come out,
My eyes will search,
It will search for the light from you.
Though you are here,
Hiding from a cloud,
Are you shy or is it a clue.
Please do come out,
and show your bright face,
Even though in my eyes it's clear.
Oh please come out,
And bring your jewelry,
For it sparkles the sky my dear.
If you were female,
I will try to be the first one for you to see.
And when I see you,
I will not hesitate to ask you to marry me.
