Moonlight

At night, I rest awhile I walk

It shines on my face so gently

as we quietly talk

It takes my fears, my worries,

my saddness, and hides them

away from the night, it

stalks upon every creature

as quietly they fight.

I understand it watches and that

It never goes to sleep, while I nap

It takes a peep at me, as quietly

like it sleeps
