Moonlight
Dear Moon let me bathe
In your gentle rays;
Let me dance in your light
That make me secret pathways.
Let the moonlight shine on me;
Let the stars kiss my brow.
Let the constellations trace
Patterns on me now.
Let me have the silver mist
To hide me in the night.
Let me have the silver clouds
To hide from the world's sight.
Let me have an angels wings
To take the wind to fly.
Let me shine with the moonlight
And with you share the sky.
